FASHION FOR LIFE 2014 GUIDE : PARADE

Coucou !

On the road again to visit some of the Fashion for Life 2014 sims today !

We will start with the Parade sim. This one is about pedal power and is designed like a maya city. It has been built by Pluto Fairey.

Sponsors are KL couture and Leezu.

The sim spreads out all around a central pond.

Shops are set within maya's style stone building among green vegetation.

Zeppelins are floating all around the sim.

The decor is just sublime.

As you know already, every vendors you will find here, will give at least 15 % of the price to the American Cancer Society, and often they give a lot more, till 100 %. So your shopping will be for a good cause.

Right at the landing point, i chose to walk toward the left.

As you could notice yesterday, i haven't done shopping at Meander. It was really late in the night for me, and i was exhausted. I"ll go back later, i saw some lil items that i want in my inventory.

So today i've chosen to display one of my items (not exclusive one, but still available in my 2 FFL shops and vendor set to give 75 % to ACR) : the Tree of Life dress. I chose this one because really the sim is the ideal decor for wearing such dress.

In addition i am still wearing the hair i got yesterday in Journey sim from Emo-tions : Renee black pack.

AND

i will use my new PhotoHud from Tillie, i just purchased this morning at Parade sim. The vendor is giving 100 % of the proceeds to ACR, so really i am dobly happy with this new item.

I already have some posehuds, and in particular my main one which is fully satisfying for me. But i wanted to give a try to this one, because it has several features not included in my other pose hud and in particular one that allows to play with windlight settings even more easily than the viewer WL editor itself.

It comes also with several lights, pose stands etc. I havent had time yet to play with all the pack.

In the first path you will find the following shops :

Roots & Wings gallery : female fashion

After the curve, you will follow the same path and be able to visit :

Epic : female fashion, accessories, shoes

Alexithymia : female fashion and photography vouchers

Bite&Claw : female fashion, skins & appliers

Alexandra Sautereau Collection : bags

Leezu : female fashion and boots.

Here you will have to chose your direction. You can go on your left side and visit the region nextdoor. If you wish to visit the other side of Parade, you have several options. You can step back till the landing point and take the other path from there. You can also stop a bit before and turn on your left and use the path over the pond, leading to the central sculpture where stands the Gatcha station and then reach the other side of the pond. Or you can cross over Leezu store. You will arrive at a beautiful huge sculpture. A path over the water will lead you to the second sponsor store KL couture and you can find the other path from there.

We will use this one.

(and i'm currently starting to love this pose/photo Hud a lot !)

So reaching the other side, we arrive at KL Couture store (female fashion and shoes).

Outside the path will lead you toward 2 directions : on the right side, till the landing poing. on the left side till the sim nextdoor. There are stores to visit in both. So we are going with the left side because it's short.

There stand :

Envy me : shoes and skins

Steping back to the main path and walking toward the landing point, we can visit :

Sassy : female fashion

Wetherby : female fashion

Tillie : pose stands and photohud

(at this point, i must say that i am really really happy to have purchased this hud in this store. It's not a simple pose Hud. i have already a great one. But this Hud has great feature to enhance your photos by playing with the windlight settings themselves. you can really tweak your WL without having to open your environment editor and its really easier ! Kudos for this HUD, im in love with it !)

Coucou !

Still at Fashion for Life event ! Let's stop at Meander sim for a bit, would you ?

This sim has been designed by Grace Loudon on the southwest beach theme.

It's sponsored by Pure Poison and Body Canvas.

Well don't try, like me, to jump on the ships. They are turned to be phantom to reduce the lag and you will end up in the bottom of the sea :-)).

Here the shops are located in small chalet all around decks. It's really a great deligth to hangout among them.

The 2 sponsors are located at each sides of the sim.

The first one Body Canvas is located below a gorgeous lighthouse.

BodyCanvas sells all kind of tatoos.

If you walk a bit toward the center of the sim and leave the beach behind you, you will reach a first deck.

On this deck you will find the following stores :

B&W Design : male fashion and male shoes

Sys : female fashion

At this point, i should talk a bit about the items i purchased in the sims visited before and that im wearing right now :

Dress : Miu Miu dress from MEB (on Journey)

And im still using the Wanderlust poses pack from Nantra (with props, not displayed here) (on Voyage sim)

At the end of this deck, you will have to make some steps in sand to reach the Pure Poison's huge building.

You will find at Pure Poison shop shoes, jewellery and accessories.

On the other side of the store, you will go down a wood stair and will walk along a path till the Gatcha station. Then you will find a new deck.

On this deck, the stores are :

(after the curve) Girly Stuff : female fashion

The last deck stand right before the junction with Perambulate sim.

Coucou !

Still traveling accross the 10 Fashion for Life regions. (links to other posts at the end of this one).

We will stop now at Journey.

This sim has been designed by TotalLunar Eclipse on the steampunk theme. But more precisely i would say it is inspired by Cthulhu myth from Lovecraft.

The sim is sponsored by Emo-tions and Heydra.

Petit Chat has a store there.

So as for the other FFL sim, all merchants here are using official FFL vendors which gives a percentage of each sale to the American Cancer Society. Then your shopping is also serving a great cause !

At my latest stop, at Excursion, i've bought some cute items i will wear for this post.

I will keep from the previous post :

Arriving at Journey, we land in an enclosed courtyard.
Actually, it reminds me a lot the high school i went when i was 15 years old.
It was exactly the same style of building.

From this courtyard, you have 3 entrances. One is the gatcha room.
Both other ones are the sponsor stores. You have to step inside each of them for reaching the streets.

So i'm going to choose first the right side one. My favorite hair store is here, *winks.
And since yesterday i came to buy this ponytail, im now going to buy their second exclusive item a long braid in the back. Of course in black.
It's called Renee and the vendor gives 25 % to ACR.

So after crossing Emo-tions store i reach the first street.

In this street you can do shopping in the following stores :

Emo-tions : hair and accessories/jewellery
Leri-Miles Designs : female fashion and shoes
MEB : female fashion
DollFace : female fashion
Gypsy Chic : female fashion
Fashion Licious : male and female fashion
Likka House : female fashion

I stopped at MEB because i fell in love with this gorgeous red dress (an exclusivity for FFL) and on top the vendor is giving 100 % of the price to ACR ! I will show this new purchase in my next post too.

And OMG ! I couldnt resist to the gatcha of Gypsy chic : a gorgeous pair of ankle boots, really fun ! You ll see them later too. The vendor was donating 50 % of the price to ACR ! yay !

At the end of this street, you will find a path leading to Trek sim. The journey building here is simply amazing !

So let's step back and reach again the central closed courtyard. From there we will cross over Heydra store (kudos for the decor in that store, btw !)

In the second street you will find ....

aahhhhhhhh ! In this street you will find Petit Chat store !!! Yayyyyy ! (well i had to do it lol)

FASHION FOR LIFE 2014 GUIDE : EXCURSION

We go on our visit of Fashion for Life sims. If you missed the first post you can read it here.

So now, we will stop at Excursion (clik to get the slurl). It's sponsored by Tres Beau and Lapointe & Bastchild.

I would describe it as a Venetian style village. It has been built by Barnesworth Anubis.

I will keep wearing the same items than those displayed in Amble post for now.

They are :

You will land at first on a lovely square surrounded by building.

All around the Square the stores are :

At this point i realise i haven't shown a lot of the items im wearing from my shopping at FFL in the first post.

I bought the jewellery precisely in this sim, at Rainbow's custom jewellery store.

Hair comes from Emo-tions (yep, my favorite hair store) at Journey.

From Journey, comes also the bikini top, from my friend Pinkrayne's store Hollyshirt

And the pose is from Nantra, on voyage sim.

To reach each side of the Excursion sim, you must cross over each sponsor's store.

Then you will arrive in a street crossing over a river.

At the beguining of the street you will find the Gatcha station

Then walking along you'll be able to visit those stores :

At this point, i stoped by Osito store and bougth a frilly top bra in red and frilly panties assorted, each vendors are set to donate 50 % of the price to ACR.

Since im currently skating all over the FFL sims, i thought they could be a cute outfit.

I will wear and display them in the next blog post.

I also tried my luck on a Crie Style gatcha and got a pair of glasses to wear on mouth. You will also see them in my next post.

I crossed again over the Square to reach the other side of the sim.
