The Fashion Wardrobe

So Petit Chat is also participating to the Fashion Wardrobe event (thanks to my friend PinkRayne who gave me the tip).
Here no exclusivity asked BUT great deals. Each round last 1 month. It started a the beguining of march and will last till the 31st.

Here a fine selection of SL Designers present you some of their items for a price between 50 and 100 L$. And of course, always in the wish to make you take benefit of some of my items for a small amount of L$, i've selected 3 of my recent releases and lowered the price for you can have them at 100 L$ only.

The Petit Chat's shelves are located in the secondary room on your right side when you come inside the big store.

The first outfit i 've selected for you is the Elixir. A gorgeous Turquoise-blue and chocolate skirt outfit. The top comes with or without the leather corset.
The skirt is mesh and comes in 6 sizes + alpha.
The regular price of this gorgeous and highly detailled outfit is 200 L$ BUT you can find it at 100 L$ only a the fashion Wardrobe till the end of the month of march.

The second and third items are my new release "Glamour dress" in red or in grey.

Here is the grey version.
Each include a velvet scarf and a beret and also panties.
Grey version has some parts in red, and vice-versa for the red version.

So i thought i could show you the red version from the back... Hehehehe.. Isn't it sexy ?
Both dress are copy only but scarf and beret are non rigged so they have a resize script inside. Just make a backup copy and resize them as you want, then delete the script from the menu for less lag.
Regular price is 130 L$ in the mainstore, but you can have them for 100 L$ at the Fashion Wardrobe event till the end of the month.

Of course, i advice you to try the demos first. You can get each of them by just touching the vendor and hit "Demo" in the menu that will pop up. Demo will come in a bag. Just wear the bag on your hand and click on it. Then you will get the folder in your inventory. No need to go to a sandbox for rezzing and unpacking.
That said, the regular items will need to be rezzed and unpacked, but you dont need that for the demo :).

The Fashion Collective

So here is another event with Petit Chat : The Fashion Collective.

It is a prestigious fashion event gathering really famous and great SL designers, and im really honored to participate to it.
Located in a gorgeous and peaceful garden, the invited designers bring to you some exclusive items.

The manager, Nayomi Gartner, set an amazing decoration here. This is the second round of this new fashion event and the theme is spring, and she couldnt bring a better spring-ish atmosphere than here.
If you have the music enabled, you will also enjoy the peaceful stream.

Each designers present here a few of they creations, all exclusive and created especially for the event.

So here is the Petit Chat table.

I thought that this event was a good opportunity to launch the new Petit Chat product line : Petit Chat ArtFashion.
This new collection will stand beside the regular Petit Chat collection.
However, it will have to specificities : each items will be textured with one of my artworks, re-worked for the occasion, and they will have materials enabled.
What is called materials within SL is a way to texture items with 3 textures at the same time. On top of the regular texture (called "diffuse"), we create and add a normal map to create relief and a specular map that will manage the way the item will reflect the lights and shadows.

For rendering the materials effect you need to use "ultra graphic" settings, or at least have enabled your "advanced lighting model" box and "ambient occlusion" box in your preference menu (graphic tab). Then you can play with your windlight settings list and play with light and shadows.

So here is the first exclusivity for the Fashion Collective, and also, the first item of the Petit Chat ArtFashion line. Its called Blue Buddha and of course for this one, i used the Blue Buddha artwork that has been displayed in my artgallery till recently.

I'd like to point you that all the pics you see here are not photoshoped. They are raw photographs, i just played with windlight settings and used photoshop to crop them. (Yeah, ive got recently a new PC with a great graphic card, so it makes things easier).

As you can see, the effect rendered by the materials is quite amazing. But of course, the dress looks also perfect without ultra graphics. You just won't have relief and less bright, but it will look beautiful anyway.

The dress i mesh of course and comes with 5 sizes and an alpha layer. Copy.

The second dress is the same but textured with the "Lost in a flower field" paint. One of my most famous pic.

Each dress is 300 L$.  Not a real big deal if you consider all textures are unique and copyrighted by myself.
Those 2 artworks are no longer displayed in my artgallery Petit Chat artgallery because i recently changed the exhibition, but if you want to see them inworld or buy them (200 L$) each, just send me an IM.

MC Fashion Colors of Springs : I'm back !

Well, yes, i know, it is almost one year i haven't been updating this blog. You can easily figure a lot of things happened, but im not going to tell you all here, it will be soon boring. I'm the kind of person who lives in her present. Present is today. So we will keep on this, and of course, i'll tell some of the things that happened in the latest year here and there along my posts.
But today, i have a lot of things to tell you !
Petit Chat is participating in a lot of events and i want to talk to you about them, about the exclusive items i created for some of them, about the good deals you can find in some of others, and about the Petit Chat's present.

Well, maybe first i would have to tell you some lil things from the past.... In march 2013, Moumou went to join angels. Her tits cancer won. She fighted for a whole week and i left everything (even RL work) to stand by her side and fight with her. She was almost 17 years. She has been really brave and i will never forget how she behaved in her last week.
For me it is a huge loss and i still miss her everyday.And i m still not ready to write about it.
But this is the explanation about why this blog stopped suddendly.
I couldnt create any clothes till september. I was blocked.
But in the meantime, i started to create artworks and it helped me a lot to heel my pain. I think this artistic skills are the gift Moumou left to me when she left. So i care this present like if i was caring her.
I opened an artgallery inworld in july. I will blog about it soon.

In september i came back to fashion designs thanks to some events ive been invited to participate in. It has been a good stimulation for puting me back to work.
And it's still going on....

Currently, i'm participating to 5 events and will be participating to the famous Fashion For Life in june 2014.
The first event i would like to talk to you about is the MC Fashion colors of spring .

Located in a city square, this event gather a lot of great designers together.
All surrounded by lil shop (Petit Chat has one with some of their regular items), the center of the Square is filled with little stalls with all exclusive items and ... at very low price, since the maximum is 100 l$.
You can find there a lot of different styles and items from make-up and tattoos till outfits, shoes, accessories etc.. well everything you need to feel the pretiest girl in the world.

This is the second round im participating in. The theme is Colors of spring. It started on the 23th of february and will end on the 9th of march.
For this particular round, ive created a new spring-ish dress in 2 versions.

I chose to call the dress Persephone, because it's the name of the godess of the spring in the greek mythology.
The dress comes with panties in case someone try to look under your dress ;-).
Here is the pink version.

It is really easy to wear. A dress for everyday.

The green version has another flower brocade.

Both dresses are sold for 100 l$ and only at the MC fashion event for now (till the 9th of march).
They come in 4 sizes with alpha layer.

A day in Paris

I was looking for a nice sim as background for introducing some of my latest releases and then i visited Paris 1900. Its a gorgeous sim about the french capital and well, since im french i thought i could be a great idea.

Im not living there myself, i live in the south of France, but ive been there several times in my life and i agree for saying its one of the prettiest city i ever visited (my favorite one still remain Barcelona).

So for introducing some of my newest outfits, i will use this lovely sim as background.

Today, we will visit the most famous there : The Eiffel Tower (in french "la Tour Eiffel") and i will wear the Mila dress. This one as been created for a special order by a SL model for a model graduation (the model herself succeded her graduation and the dress has been applaused by the jury ... and yes, im really proud about this :-D).

Of course, we will start the visit at the feet of the Effeil Tower... Normally, it doesnt look exactly like this... since the Tower open on a large avenue called Le Champs de Mars. But the place just below the Tower, its almost similar.

I guess this pic has been shot from the top of the Eiffel Tower. In the back side, there is the Seine river.

For this delightful visit, i was wearing the Mila dress. As i said before this dress has been designed for a special order and one of the obligation was that the dress had to look like one of the models created by Karl Lagerfield for the Chanel collection in spring/summer 2012.

The Mila dress is highly detailled with a lot of topstitching and tiny details.

While i was at the bottom of the Tower, i had one regret : there are a lot of small shops with vendor pics and yes, i don't doubt there are some in RL aswell, but at least i think that we could have been safe from this kind of commercial pollution in SL. But well....

So i quickly find the stairs to reach the elevator... I was excited... Yay ! i was going to go up the Tower ! Ive been so excited, that while i was walking up the stairs, i stumbled and almost fell on the groom !

"Oh sorry sir ! Im so excited to go up the Tower, that i failed on a step"

"No problem Madame !, said the groom. I hope you didnt hurt you "

"No, thanks, all is fine' I answered while i walked to the elevator.

Ok so 3 levels... lets start with the first one. Its already pretty high. Then i pushed the 1rst level button.

The architecture of the Tower is really impressive. All in metal....I looked upper while i was on the first level, and the less i can say is that i felt really short lol. The tower is gigantic !

I braved then my vertigo and came to sit on a balustrade, to enjoy the view and i found there a lil cushion and a book about the Tower.

As you can see, ive been lucky this day because the weather was awesome !

In RL you can find a great restaurant, at the first level. Here there is no restaurant, but a lil art gallery and some of the manequin made for the decor are in sale too. 

So lets go upper !
Ding ! Second level !

At the second level there are some big boards with great explanations about the History of the Tower and i found also these 2 great photographies. Of course i couldnt resist to pose just in front of them !

I even tried to check if i was able to move some metal pillars.... but well.. you know already the answer, dont you ? This Tower is really solid, it wont fall in pieces.... Well, always good to know heheheheh... i wouldnt like it fall while i am inside it.

So i sat here again on a balustrade and enjoyed the view....

Ok, i know what you will say.... Ok, ok... In Paris, there is no sea, no ocean.... you can still admire the Seine from the top of the Tower, but yes, it look really different than a sea... But here we are in SL ! That's the fairy of SL : you can enjoy watching the sea from the top of the Eiffel Tower ! Isnt this magical ?

I went up to the 3rd level, tried to go up to the roof for shoting a pic and ..... I fell !

Ive been lucky enough to be able to catch myself to a metal pillar before reaching the ground and squash myself as a pancake.

In the 3rd level, you can do a parachute jump and then go down this way. Well, i didnt take any parachute, i fell without purpose lol...

So while i was checking i was safe after landing on a pillar, i took 2 pics. 

And no, im not about jumping !

Before leaving this great place i even took time for making a nice photo of the whole Tower :
